The HOSPA Education and Training Programme in Financial Management provides the first step to pursuing a career in business and finance in the hospitality sector.
The course content is based on best practice in the sector and follows the guidance and recommendations of the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (2014 edition). The course offers three levels of study and successsful completion of all three levels leads to Certified Associate Membership of HOSPA enabling members to use AHOSPA Cert (FM) in their business correspondence. This award confirms that the member has the skills and knowledge to manage a hospitality finance department.
The course provides practical skills and knowledge specific to the industry using terminology and examples from the world of hospitality, meaning you will be able to apply what you learn directly to your workplace.
There are 3 stages each taking 5 months to complete, these are:
- Stage 1: Introduction to Financial Management
- Stage 2: Operational Financial Management
- Stage 3: Strategic Financial Management
The course costs £820 (plus VAT) per Stage; this includes everything you will need for your studies including all study materials, tutor support, revision papers, examinations and membership with HOSPA for the duration of your study.Book Event
