The Association for Public Service Excellence (APSE), who work with over 300 local authorities throughout the UK promoting excellence in public service, and arena4finance are delighted to jointly announce the provision of Approved Partner status for arena4finance with APSE.
The APSE approved partner scheme was set up over a decade ago as a means of ensuring those supplying goods or services to local authorities provide excellent quality and can demonstrate that they operate under high company standards; this includes APSE verifying that such companies have appropriate quality assurance, ethical employment standards and environmental standards in their day to day operations. The scheme is designed to ensure those dealing with public sector clients operate within an ethical framework and offer good standards throughout their dealings with public sector clients.
APSE Chief Executive, Paul O’Brien commented: “I am delighted to welcome arena4finance as an APSE Approved Partner. As the public sector faces an increasing squeeze on its finances it is important to ensure that suppliers to public bodies are of the highest calibre”.
Jan Kennedy, APSE’s Head of Training added: “I have worked with arena4finance on a number of APSE training courses and the feedback from delegates has been really positive. I look forward to continuing to work with arena4finance as an APSE Approved Partner and it gives both organisations a really great start to 2015”.
arena4finance specialises in the design and delivery of financial training and professional development for non-financial managers and career accountants and have been providing short courses in partnership with APSE since May 2014 to assist public sector catering services with the management and control of food costs. Throughout 2014, arena4finance and APSE have hosted courses in Powys, Cambridge, East Riding of Yorkshire and Glasgow and further courses have been scheduled for 2015 in Birmingham and Manchester.
