Passion 4 Hospitality 2015 - Call for Entries

Teams of hospitality students and professionals are invited to enter the second annual UK business game competition due to take place on Thursday 19th March 2015 at the Novotel London West Hotel.

Participants will compete against rival teams using the interactive hospitality simulation program HOTS to manage a virtual hotel business. The competition begins with online heats, with the winners progressing to the live final at the Passion 4 Hospitality event in London. Each team will manage a hotel property within the virtual environment and be tasked with making successful business decisions in all operational areas.

The competition winners will receive an award, along with a stunning prize awarded by one of our hospitality partners.

Entry Requirements

  • Teams should be made up of 4 or 5 members
  • Student teams must be from establishments who are registered with the Institute of Hospitality Education Membership Scheme. To register, please contact sarah.debouter@instituteofhospitality.org.
  • Professional teams must be individual members of the Institute of Hospitality, though not necessarily from the same company
  • The business game will take place alongside the Passion4Hospitality Debating Competition.


Once your entry has been accepted you will be sent the competition details and you will be able to start the online heats.

The key dates for the competition are as follows:

  • Deadline for Entries - 1st December 2014
  • Finalists Announced - 6th February 2015
  • Live Final - 19th March 2015
